This simple 2 x 2 Matrix helps you and your team map out ideas by their potential impact and potential effort of implementation. Some ideas are more costly then others, but might have a more long-term payoff, than any low hanging fruit and short-term actions.

Categorizing ideas visually and collaboratively is a useful technique in alignment and decision making, and forces you to evaluate and pit potential ideas, solutions, and actions against each other.
